Columbia Cup final field set

Published Sunday, July 29th, 2007

We've got one heck of a field for the Columbia Cup final heat here today. It's been a pretty tight day of racing, and it all boils down to five more laps. Here's the lineup:

On the front row, we will have:

U-16 Miss E-Lam Plus, driven by Dave Villwock and owned by Erick Ellstrom.

U-37 Miss Beacon Plumbing, driven by Jean Theoret and owned by Billy and Jane Schumacher.

U-10 Hoss Mortgage Investors, driven by Dave Bryant and owned by Kim Gregory.

U-6 Oh Boy! Oberto, driven by Steve David and owned by the City of Madison, Ind.

U-5 Formulaboats.com, driven by Jeff Bernard and owned by Ted Porter.

Two other boats will trail the field by five boat lengths at the start:

U-9 Conover Insurance, driven by Jeff Bertram and owned by Mike and Lori Jones.

U-13 Spirit of Detroit, driven by J. Michael Kelly and owned by Dave Bartush.

The final heat will be run right here in Hydro Town beginning at 4:40 western time.
